Robin
Pages

A page to share, at its real width.

Pages is for plans, design documents and pitches. A page shows at its real width in Robin’s browser, and you change it by pointing at a block.

The Pages bench with Lowtide Station’s page: a coast at dusk with the headline The last train runs at low tide. Get on., and the page’s sections listed beside it.
  • Its real width Phone, Tablet and Desktop at 390, 820 and 1280.
  • Slides that move Present, with Magic Move between slides.
  • A copy a row Data merge from a CSV or tab-separated sheet.
  • InDesign in and out IDML, for InDesign or Affinity Publisher.

Opens on a demo. Lowtide Station: The last train along the coast, as a page to edit and publish. Free, on your Mac, nothing to set up.

Point at a block, and change it.

Click a block, then Ask about it, Change it, Edit words, Restyle, see its Takes, Remove it, or Move it up or down. Change it sets ink, size and space at once, for free. Notes collects numbered notes to send together, and on a change Robin made, Undo and Before are a press away. Publish… puts the ask in the chat; Robin checks the page and asks before it goes out.

Lowtide Station’s website on the Pages bench: Annotate, the page with two numbered notes and the Join the dive list button picked, and the critic asking where the title should sit.

Slides, with Magic Move.

Make slides turns the open page into a deck, as a PDF and 1920×1080 pictures. New slides… starts a deck of its own at 16:9. Present shows the slides one at a time; what two slides share moves between them by Magic Move. Duplicate slide, move things on the copy, and they glide across. Templates holds five pages and two decks. All free, on your Mac.

Lowtide Station’s pitch presented on the Pages bench: slide 2 of 3, The station, the lab, the galley and the window deck listed beside a picture of the night train on the coast; on the bar 2 of 3, Duplicate slide and End.

A page for every row.

Data merge… copies the page once for each row of a sheet. Write «Name» where a column’s words go, and a column of picture files places each picture. The copies land as one new page, a printed page a row, and what did not match is said. Free, on your Mac.

In and out of InDesign.

Import IDML… brings in an InDesign or Affinity Publisher document as a page of its own: every frame where it was put, its words threaded through, its styles, its swatches and its pictures. Anything that changed on the way in is said. Export IDML… writes the page back out, laid at the width the bench shows it. Both free, on your Mac.

Lowtide Station brought in from an IDML file as a page of its own on the Pages bench: the coast at dusk under The last train runs at low tide. Get on., and the note Imported Lowtide Station: 1 page, 18 frames, 13 styles, 9 swatches, its 2 pictures in Links.

The price before you press.

Every make says what it costs and whose it is before it runs. Above the limit you set, it waits for your yes.
